Renzo Barzizza, filmed when he was just born with his mother Tatina, recounts: 'I was born on 4 December 1935 in the house in Piazzale Giulio Cesare in Milan. Only a few months later my father, Pippo Barzizza, would move with us to Turin and take over the direction of the Cetra orchestra for EIAR. I was born at 8 a.m. and have been an early riser ever since. I weighed over 3 kg. I owe my name to my grandfather Luigi's brother, Lorenzo, a refined musicologist, a fundamental figure in my father's musical education. I imagine Isa was excited about the arrival of a little brother. Ever since she was four years old, she loved to invent plays in which she involved us children at home. Once she put one of mum's hats on my head and painted a musketeer's moustache with the burnt cap... I was very proud of it. This is one of my first memories with her." But this time it is Renzo who takes the stage, Isa appears for a brief moment, just as we see Pippo, the author of the film 9.5mm, equally excited.
