FIAT opened by his father in the province of Varese and is an advanced amateur filmmaker. He films in 16mm, dabbling mainly in filming workshops, car races, sporting events and family scenes. As we deduce from this film, Dante is also involved in film promotion activities outside the home, such as the local small-format film festival, one of many that were springing up in Italy in the early 1950s. Films and small productions were made with family, friends and film enthusiasts, probably in the context of the local film club. It is for this reason that on 5 November 1952 Alberti made film auditions, which in our eyes are first and foremost beautiful portraits.
