After six hundred and seventy-four days of engagement, on Wednesday 30 October 1940 at 9 a.m. Enrico and Claretta were finally married. This is how Enrico Chierici calls Clara Pezzuto in his letters, which are not as many as the number of days of engagement, but they are close. "Our day", writes Enrico in a letter a few weeks earlier. So here they are in this film Enrico and Clara finally married in Genoa, in the parish church of San Nicola, in Corso Firenze. The 9.5 mm film, shot mainly by her brother Piero and his brother and father Paolo Chierici and Ludovico, beyond the numbers of days of waiting reports that it was a magnificent morning. It could not be otherwise… This will be followed by a short wedding reception organised at the restaurant of the Albergo Astoria and Belgrano, in Piazza Brignole, so that they can leave by train from the nearby railway station at 11:45.
