A day with a strong wind blowing, a cloudy sky and a few rays of sunshine characterise this trip to Polesine, to Comacchio and the surrounding area, by a group of friends from Bologna, four boys and two girls, among whom can be recognised some of the founders of the magazine and publishing house Il Mulino. The random effects of light on the film make this 8mm colour film even more evocative. Among the architecture of the lagoon city near the mouth of the Po, the friends are having fun filming each other. They are young, cheerful and in the mood for a joke. Since it is Sunday, maybe they leave aside politics, social sciences and philosophy, which are their bread and butter. This time they probably prefer to eat eel, a local speciality, before moving on to the canals and surrounding countryside where the harvest is in progress.
