An anonymous filmmaker who is a Bologna fan films on 8mm the journey to Rome to attend the Italian football championship play-off between Bologna and Inter. The Bolognese fans' arrival by train at Termini, the flags, the packed stands of the Olimpico, the field that looks far away, the luminous scoreboard with the formation, the result and the exultation of the away fans (but also of the Romans who sympathise with the Bologna team). The result was clear, 2-0 to Bologna in what was to remain an unforgettable match, the only play-off to award the single-round championship title and now Bologna's last Scudetto, the seventh ever and the first of the post-war period for what was once, thirty years earlier, hailed as 'the team that makes the world tremble. The anonymous fan shakes the camera, he is a boy from the curva happy to be there and to take us all to Rome on 7 June 1964. An unforgettable date even for those who were not there.

(The version we present is the re-edited version with narration by Emidio Clementi and soundtrack by Massimo Carozzi, taken from Formato Ridotto, episode Gli uomini la domenica, 2012)
