In 1937 the leader of the Naples Cineguf, Domenico Paolella, published a sort of Manifesto of the movement and entitled it "Experimental Cinema", the first book ever written in the world on experimental cinema. An opportunity to clarify the terms of the lexical re-appropriation of the term and a training ground for experimentation for the new generations of directors.
